Horses
(visit the For Sale link to see updates to list)
Alder Creek Farm is a small family-run operation where we have
good-minded horses bred for color, disposition, and foundation bloodlines.
We are located just west of the Nation's Capital, in the heart of
maple sugar country on the edge of the town of Renfrew, Ontario.
Our 100 acre farm has varied terrain and has creeks lined with alder
trees -- hence the name! Our goal is to breed and raise foundation
quarter horses that can be registered in the National Foundation
Quarter Horse Association. Our mares have raised some great foals
and our aim is to focus on grullos/grullas, and duns.
Our young grullo stallion prospect, Push Down and Twist, is a beautiful
silver grullo whose bloodlines include Two Eyed Jack and Zippo Pine
Bar on his papers. Our mares include the lines of Boston Mac, Poco
Bueno, and Tabano Gold.
We just recently purchased a grullo filly from Missouri as our
future star broodmare. Both her parents are grullo. Her bloodlines
include Little Steel Dust, Tabano King, Poco Bueno, and she crosses
back to King 14 times for a total of 21% King blood in her!
We usually have a few good horses for sale. See our Horses for
Sale link for pictures and pedigrees. Feel free to email us if you
have any questions about any other horse we may have on the site
too!
Alder Creek also produces natural homemade soaps. To see more information
on our soaps, how they're made and pricing information, please check

We hope you enjoy your tour through Alder Creek Farm, mother nature's
playground!
